Ganesh Chaturthi 2025

A vibrant confluence of Devotion, Unity, and Spiritual Synergy, organized by the Electroverse Club at Shantilal Shah Engineering College, Bhavnagar.

✨ The Essence on Campus

The festival of Ganesh Chaturthi brought a profound sense of devotion, wisdom, and auspicious beginnings to our campus from August 27th to 30th, 2025. For engineering students, the celebration provided much-needed spiritual grounding amid rigorous academic pressures, transforming the campus into a vibrant center of positivity, cultural heritage, and shared teamwork.

🎨 Pre-Event Planning & Mandap Creation

The preparation was a testament to student ingenuity and eco-conscious design. The mandap was meticulously crafted using sustainable, eco-friendly materials adorned with vibrant drapes and exquisite floral arrangements, with students self-managing the intricate electrical lighting systems. The event was made possible through donations collected passionately by the students, reflecting a massive college-wide contribution.

🥁 Day 1: Aagman & Sthapana (Aug 27)

The festival officially commenced with a grand welcoming procession. The air resonated with the rhythmic beats of the Dhol and ecstatic chants of "Ganpati Bappa Morya!" The idol was reverently installed within the beautifully lit Mandap following traditional Vedic rituals. Prof. Munjal Bhatt and Ayush Pandey proudly led the inaugural Aarti.

🙏 Days 2-3: Devotion & Culture (Aug 28-29)

The middle days of the festival were marked by deep spiritual immersion. Daily morning and evening Aartis consistently drew dozens of enthusiastic students and faculty members. A unique feature of the celebration was the 'Prasad' distribution, which was lovingly organized by a different academic department each day, ensuring the blessings were shared widely across the staff and student body.
